"The property is situated in a great part of Southsea, you can get to the beach relatively quickly and there are plenty of attractions around. "I stayed at the royal maritimime hotel for 2 nights and the room was very comfortable,the bathroom was lovely and big and there was daily housekeeping. Only downside is I noticed after the housekeeping had been, in the shower the small bottle of shower gel was still on the floor in the shower so I don't think the shower had got done but that is my only criticism. I had breakfast on my first day and there was good choice and it was nice and hot , I choose to have breakfast in town on my 2nd day as I had gone for room only and if you wanted to add breakfast on it's £15.95 if you add it at time of booking it's alot cheaper. I used the bar once on my visit and the lady in the bar was very friendly. The lady's on reception was also very friendly but I had a lovely chat with the lady in the bar I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Portsmouth as it's only a short walk from the shopping centre and bars restaurants and train station . I walked back on my own from the cinema after midnight on my first night and felt very safe."
