"Our room on the second floor was extremely hot - it was a particularly hot week but we were never able to cool it down despite having the fan on. Having to climb about 40 stairs with suitcases for several days' stay was a challenge. Although the house keeping staff did their best to maintain the room and bathroom they were outdated and the bathroom in particular needs updating. The sofa looks as though it has been picked up from a junk shop

"So pleased we booked an overnight stay here. Every member of staff we met were friendly and helpful. Small room but it had everything that you would need including a safe, aircon (so welcome with the high temperatures), an iron, hairdryer and tea and coffee. The bathroom was great too.
