"We booked this property as the picture on website looked nice. It said we would share bathroom only with people in our party, this was booked as non-refundable. We only book properties with en-suite usually but as said it would only be shared with our party. Once booking came through I checked the postcode and found that the property was down a private road which you could not view on google maps. "Lovely place convenient for Cambridge room was clean and comfortable exceeding our expectations for the price We did not use the pool and thought having to pay extra for pool and parking seemed a bit strange Instructions and info prior to visit was very good or saying no shampoo etc but it would of been helpful to know that the gates opened automatically if you drive close enough to them"

"We had a family bedroom with two beds in a quite spacious room above reception. The room was ok but a little tired. Hotel is on the outskirts of Peterborough and we stayed there for easy access to Burghley house and Stamford Village which are 20 to 30 minute drive away. Hotel is quite close to the A1 and also there is a heritage railway nearby. Breakfast was good and was set in the older part of the house. I guess it’s often use for wedding functions because the older part of the house looks very nice. Good facilities with spa, pool and gym. Also part of the hotel grounds was a pub with food. Overall a good stay for one night."

"The room was excellent, the staff were friendly and very helpful, the shop was a little expensive but nothing you wouldn't expect from a hotel and the selection of goodies was just right. Breakfast was delicious and the location perfect! Just wish we could have stayed longer! Will definitely be going back! The only thing to mention is to be warned of ridiculous parking costs! Nothing to do with the hotel as car park was managed separately, but we parked for just under 24 hours and it was £53! Highly recommend the Wilde 👍"

"We stayed here for one night on a Sunday and it definitely met the expectations for the price range. Beforehand I had requested anything complementary as it was our anniversary. I was pleasantly surprised that we were granted an upgrade to a junior suite on the top floor, however bare in mind it was a Sunday and not very busy. They kindly decorated the room for our anniversary which was a lovely touch. Overall, a very peaceful stay for both of us, helped by the lovely staff and topped off by a lovely breakfast. The main attraction was definitely the pool"

"Hotel check-in was quick and easy. Our room was spacious but I did book a superior room. Lots of hotels and pubs always fail to provide hair conditioners, tissues and face washers. Only a handful do that. Don’t understand how they don’t provide them when it’s such a small cost item. Dinner was nice but had to wait a long time, obviously due to short staffed. I definitely would stay there again."
