"Great staff but the hotel smells so musty it’s almost unbearable. One room had such a loud AC noise that made it hard to sleep. We had to stay until our house closing so it was what it was. Definitely not a vacation spot more of a transient stopover."

"There are 40 rooms and only 10 parking spots. Had to ride around downtown area for 15 minutes before found someone in street parking pulling out to get a spot. Then had to walk 4 blocks back to hotel!! Never heard of a hotel that did not provide parking. ☹️.
Also private party at hotel so lounge and restaurant were not available to hotel guests. Then private party noise kept us up until after midnight. Not a great experience at all."

"The mold in the second room that they offered me was extreme. I walked in and they had a dehumidifier in the corner that I opened up was full, and there was mold floating in it. I emptied it and left the room came back. The smell was so bad I got a headache."

"Room and amenities were very clean and in great condition, staff were friendly as well! No breakfast included but that wasn’t a problem for us as each room had a coffee machine and fridge. There was always parking, even at night when everyone returned to the hotel. Great stay overall."

"The staff was excellent and super helpful! However, we stayed in a suite and it faced the highway (6 lanes) and the noise transference was fairly high. I'm guessing these are the original windows with the building but these need to be replaced. We've stayed in this hotel before multiple times in a room which doesn't face the property and the noise wasn't an issue."

"Howard Johnson goes back a long time. Always like the old world charm of the 50’s and 60’s styling. Only one small quirk was my shower knob did not work and it was broken. Fortunately it was stuck on a reasonable temperature to shower and used it as that. Breakfast was quite meager, very small lounge and limited food choices. But I assume it’s because of the limited space that had there. Overall it was alright and would go there again since my beach location in Clearwater was all but overbooked....
