"Rooms were clean and spacious! Front desk staff very helpful! Didn't like loud doors closing in morning and late night....not the guests fault...just hard to close without making noise!"

"The Room was nice and clean, and the hotel was in a convenient location right in downtown Gettysburg, with many restaurants, coffee shops and lots of other shops within walking distance. Check out is at 11 am, which was very nice. This is a perfect place is you are just staying a night or two to see the sights and don't really need anything fancy."

"The place was quaint but tired, floor creaked and a/c basically didn’t cool the room. Felt safe and like parking right in front of room and the chair outside allowed some fresh air. However, I noticed that you have to pay to get ice from the ice machine and that’s just cheap. Also, the linens were threadbare, and the towels were sandpaper rough. For the price of the room, I expected more. A smart TV would have also been nice"

"The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable! The bathroom was tiny and the toilet felt like it belonged in an elementary school. It’s a cool old house! Staff was nice but there seems to be a disconnect with communication between the owner and them. We got several automated messages but staff was unaware of what they said. Also, do NOT spend the extra money for the “gourmet” breakfast! It’s not great and definitely not worth the price. Go to one of the cute local places instead. Overall,...

"This was a beautiful property, everything was so clean and our room was amazing. The only thing there was a problem with was the hot tub. It definitely needed maintained and cleaned. But other than that, everything was wonderful."

"Overall an ok hotel but for $235 it wasn’t worth it. The room had a smell and the WiFi didn’t work in my room or anyone’s rooms that we traveled with. It would connect and drop, connect and drop. I informed Expedia and Expedia called the hotel but the front desk guy hung up on them. The breakfast was fantastic though. I won’t stay there again"

"Innkeepers Heidi and Dan were very welcoming and friendly. Dan met us as we arrived and walked us into the inn. Heidi got us checked in and gave us a tour of the manor and showed us our room. We stayed in the Emily Rose which was a perfect size for just two of us for one night. The room was very clean and comfortable. The entire inn was very clean and beautifully decorated. Some of the other rooms were unoccupied which gave us a chance to see them and they were all very clean looking as well. I...

"Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better."

"From start to finish the ladies there are wonderful. Millie checked us in at 12:00am and she was so nice. Shell, Venus and Angie, did a great job at the front desk and the breakfast bar. They were always friendly, kind and smiling. Cristal was our maid and she is so kind and considerate. It’s not the newest or fanciest place to stay but it is definitely the warmest and friendliest."
