"Fantastic property with very friendly staff. We decided to stay here instead of a ‘luxury desert camp’ because there were so many with similar names. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast by Ismail was varied and tasty. The hotel also arranges camel and quad bikes for the lowest prices we could find so we didn’t haggle. Its best to book these activities though the hotel for a hassle free experience as these activities are next to the hotel. Thanks for an amazing stay. "

"The staff are beyond friendly. We enjoyed our fireside riddles and laughed a lot with some of the staff. Our camel ride out to the camp with guide Mohammed was stellar. There was a stop for the sunset and some local berbere men shared their sand board with us so we could play on the dunes. The only thing I'd change about the entire experience is the dinner. "Camels, and 4X4’s, luxury and serenity. The camp had it all. It was the perfect experience and one I truly hope to experience again. We spent 2 nights at the camp and I am so glad that we did, one just would not be enough. Although the food, surroundings, stargazing, camel rides, and four wheeling through the dunes are amazing, the best part of Horaz is the wonderful, warm staff. "Fabulous desert location with included live music and dancing with Touareg. Parking off site, and please do take the 1 1/2 hr camel ride to the camp: it is breathtaking (especially when aiming to arrive 1-2 hours before sundown in the camp). Staff is very capable and welcoming. "
