"It is a nice hotel. Very large and comfortable rooms, very clean, quiet, helpful staff. The restaurant is below par, most of the dishes are Chinese, and it is hard to order as pictures don't relate to the actual dish and personnel don't speak any other languages. Breakfast is very limited, but reasonable priced. They offer a free bus to and from the fair everyday, but cabs are so cheap that you don't actually need it. Location is a 10 minute ride from the Canton Fairgrounds, but there is nothing...

"Clean and spacious room. Also really liked that there was a huge park next to the hotel, which made air quality much nicer than center of Guangzhou. Only complaint was there was only few people who can communicate in English, and noodle maker for breakfast buffet showed annoying face when I asked for noodle. Other than that breakfast was good"

"I would highly recommend Sofitel to everyone. We had a wonderful experience. Asad was very friendly and welcoming during the breakfast buffet, and the other staff members were also very helpful. The cleaning staff were very nice as well.
