"My daughter and I really enjoyed our weekend stay. Our room was really nice and clean although on check in they put us in the wrong River view room. I paid for full view for my daughters first time there and they tried to pass off a partial view room (with a large wall blocking the view to the left) as “one considered a full view room” but when I asked they immediately put me in the one I paid for - there is a price difference! I got the feeling they maybe overbook the full view rooms and place guests in these rooms who might not realize or complain? We were able to check in early (rooms were conveniently ready) so it was easy to make the correction.
The staff were polite and helpful, the breakfast was probably one of the best free breakfasts I’ve had with different options than the usual free breakfasts and it changed a bit each day.
The on site parking lot was small; the riverfront location doesn’t geographically allow a lot of space for any of the hotels to offer parking honestly but I was able to find a spot both nights and Saturday night we returned pretty late and didn’t have a problem. Staff said if i couldn’t get a spot to let them know and they’d figure it out but I didn’t need to do that. I’ve stayed at the Hilton 2 doors down before and had to use the city parking garage a block behind the building, so having a spot on site at a cheaper hotel with the same view and a free breakfast was a bonus!
I would definitely recommend this hotel to others."
