"What a tropical paradise! We were blown away by Hideaway! If you are looking for a private, family or couple getaway, this is the best place around! The simplicity might be a little less than what some want, but the stay met every one of our needs. The environment was beautiful and the beach was our favorite on the island! The restaurant's atmosphere was perfect for my wife and I as we lived in the VI for many years. To finish our stay, our taxy driver was like a private tour guide to the airport. "We loved our stay at Emerald Beach Resort! The staff was helpful, especially Rachel and Sharif !!! The beach was beautiful, great views from room. They were very accommodating to all our needs. The downfall was limited access to eating different foods. Getting to restaurants or town cost $40.00 round trip by taxi no matter how close or far. Strongly suggest a car rental. Reminder they drive on opposite side of road there. We stayed 8 nights, we would do it again!"
