"Cute hotel. Would stay again "

"The best thing about the Tamarind is the location and the views. Each room has a private patio or porch with a view of the water - I was afraid the pictures would be too good to be true, but they are real! It was so lovely to have morning coffee and just sit in the evenings and relax. The beach is a very short walk from the buildings with the rooms, and offers lounge chairs, beach volleyball, cornhole, and snorkel gear and kayaks at no cost to guests. The onsite restaurant is under new management and is rebuilding - the menu was limited but the service was excellent. The room itself was nice - bed was comfy and the little kitchenette offered most of what we needed for simple meals. Bathroom is small but adequate. The room got humid if the A/C wasn't running but I'd imagine that would be the same anywhere. Housekeeping was limited and the front desk staff weren't forthcoming with info (did not tell us about the amenities when checking in, and we never found the fitness center). But overall it was a lovely stay and worth it just for the patio and views. "

"Hotel was short staffed at both bar and grill. We waited an average of 15-20 min to receive food and drinks once order was placed. Some waited longer while others received preferential treatment if they tipped well or were friends with staff. Dinner choices were limited if you ate late. Only One washer in laundry room worked. Hotel was pleasant to look at but staffing improvements are much needed."

"The Carina hotel and all inclusive, it had a casino not the biggest but enough to sustain the urge to go. Staff were very polite and respectful. The bar and grill bartenders were a great help when choosing drinks, the food was pretty good also. I would say to rent a jeep so you can get arou d and explore as taxi can get expensive and not to dew are around. "

"nice people and the hotel is at colonial area. You have turism, beach, history an good restaurants and shopping around. Everithing aroung. Plus is a relax area too. "

"Staff very nice. Room was clean and had everything I needed. Beach is steps away. The beach chairs are free and they’re readily avail able. They also have a kayaks, snorkel gear and beach floats to use for free. The food at the onsite restaurant is delicious. We stayed for 5 days and had an amazingly relaxing experience!! Definitely book the trip. "
