"This was nothing like the photos and very disappointing. The room was moldy and dark. The safety latch on the door was broken and so was the lock. We put things in front of the door while we slept because it didn't feel safe there. There were several men wandering the property and we didn't know if they worked there or not. "Very friendly and helpful staff throughout the resort including the pro shop at the golf course. Room was exactly as pictured and expected ! Breakfast choices were plentiful. Beaches were spectacular , and for someone that has been coming down to STX for 30 years - among the best on the island. All of the restaurants were excellent and we ate at all of them. The Welcome Experience on Tuesday night and meeting the owner was refreshing and perfect. The Buccaneer is a must stay!"

"Absolutely gorgeous boutique hotel, the rooms were beautifully decorated, this hotel is mostly for couples, if you are planning to go with friends I advise you to make sure there are double bed rooms available (this was my mistake, not theirs), the owners are amazing, very approachable and quick to respond, EXCELLENT customer service."

"Sandcastle hotel was an awesome place to stay. The front desk personnel were helpful at check-in explaining what was available as far as amenities during our stay. The only thing I can say is the continental breakfast offered at the check-in desk needs an improvement. Other than that, the hotel grounds are pleasant and well manicured. Views are wonderful, beach is very nice and not crowded, bartender Connor was excellent and food truck was delicious!! We fell in love with the cats around our cabin. All in all, this place will always be our place to stay!! "

"Besides the roaches, the place was AMAZING. Drinks were great, food was filling. The property was under construction, but still very beautiful. The roaches really killed the vibe though. They seem to enjoy the bathroom and the curtains the most even though they are also present in the kitchenette. I think an exterminator would do them good. The staff were very helpful and very friendly. Otherwise we had a great time. Would have been 5 stars if we didn’t have to deal with roaches in our room....

"We rented the apartment named "The view". The name couldn't have been more accurate. This apartment had a beautiful view of the bay and buck island. We had a super smooth check in and check out. Place was very clean and the host even had snacks and drinks waiting for us when we arrived. All in all this was a very nice place to stay and well worth the money. I would recommend this place."

"The apartment truly does sit in the heart of Christiansted - a perfect location for popping out to a local dinner, browsing local shops, heading out for an excursion, or ducking downstairs to the juice bar. The space was well maintained very clean, and provided everything we need. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this apartment for a trip to Christiansted."
