Paid for an ocean view (and a sanctuary in paradise). First room was near the loading dock and ear jarring noise at 10pm (trash compactor) and from 6am-8am (trucks going forward and backing up). 75% view of the ship harbor, which was pretty but wasn't the ocean. "This is a wonderful resort to stay at. The room was very clean, love the privacy and beautiful grounds. The staff was very helpful and the restaurant had delicious food. Literally the only issue we had was that our TV don’t work in our room, but didn’t complain as we didn’t need it much anyway. Great place to stay. "

Unfortunately, this luxury hotel gave away our room even after I had called to confirm that we would be one day late due to airplane issues and we understood that we may have to pay for that night. "Clean room, attentive staff. The only thing i frowned upon was the breakfast food because everything, from the eggs to the bacon to the waffles tasted like fish. Perhaps the cooking oil used was previously used in cooking fish. Overall, I would 100% recommend this place to stay. It’s also economically friendly. "

"The room was very clean but a little dated and our closet door fell off one day. The bar and restaurant were good but slow on getting waited on. On cruise ship days there were loads of extra people on the property which also caused slow service. "

"We had such a wonderful stay. The staff was truly kind and welcoming, and the villa felt spacious, clean, and comfortable. Having a washer and dryer made everything so easy. The restaurant was a favorite—beautiful views and really delicious food. We would happily come back."

"For the price we paid i was not happy with the cleanliness. Dirty bedding. Our shower also didn’t drain so standing in the sandy water was nasty. Other than that, location was great. "

"The room itself was nice and adequate. However, the pool was very dirty, common areas in poor condition, WIFI was useless (extremely slow), had dinner plans for 7pm at the restaurant (reservation made by lady at front desk) and later called saying they weren't serving dinner. "

"Staff was friendly and responsive. Our room was beautiful and well equipped and cleaned daily. The beach was lovely and the cove provided protection against the winds other beaches were facing. The waters were clear, and we saw a lot of sea life just outside our door with goggles! Parking was easy and close to our door."

"Power went out often on the island, a generator is needed at this property. Out flight was cancelled and we lost a day. I was told we would get credit for that but haven’t received confirmation of that yet. Location is okay, taxi service is a few blocks away, restaurants close. Not sure if I’d return or recommend at this time, still waiting on owner to honor his verbal agreement. But no matter what, a generator is desperately needed to protect a quality experience. "

"I paid for the insurance I boarded the plane had a seizure the United Airlines was very helpful and was safe the property ignored me and wasn't able to communicate with no one and Expedia was unable to get help for me. I will never book here again as much as ai travel my 1st medical emergency and no accommodations were made. "
