"Die Lage war perfekt. Ich konnte alles zu Fuß erreichen. Das Zimmer war groß und sauber. Perfekt. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und versuchen alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Das Frühstück könnte besser sein. Ich würde jederzeit wieder dieses hotel buchen. Für 3 Nächte und Lagos zu erkunden war es für mich sehr schönes hotel. "

"We enjoyed everything about the hotel. The staff were all so friendly and efficient, spacious clean rooms and communal areas, and a convenient location for nearby towns. It was a 15 minute walk to the beach. We were all inclusive and the food was varied, fresh, and really enjoyable. The pool did get a lot busier our last few days as the weekend and school holidays started. Last 2 days there were too many inflatables and ball games in the south pool, which had been quiet. "Booked a studio apartment last minute for 3 nights. Smart hotel, good security. Very friendly staff. Lovely pools as well as an indoor pool. Comfortable outdoor area. Spacious well equipped room, we did end up in a disabled room despite full fitness! Did feel if you were disabled there was only a shower over the bath which was quite high to get into, not a problem for us though. Had a nice meal in the lovely restaurant. Good parking. "

"We loved our stay at Placid Village. Ideal for short distance away from the Carvoeiro beach. You do need a car I think to make it easy to move around, the walk to the beach is quite steap and would not recommend. The appartment itself is in a good state, really spacious. Even had a washing machine which we used. Also a large supermarket located nearby, a 5 minute drive. "

"We stayed for over a month, and we doubt with a gentleman by the name of Rui, at the front desk. He was so incredibly helpful, friendly, insightful, and gave us some phenomenal suggestions. No request was too small or too big. His Customer service really made our trip memorable. He gave us ideas for places to go, restaurants, bakeries, local things to do, and if we had any issues at all, they were dealt with, in an expedient fashion! "Une semaine début mai très agréable . L’hôtel est bien situé conforme à la description. A 200m de deux jolies plages . Bonne base pour une visite de l’Algarve. Petit déjeuner buffet grandiose. Par contre la mer est très froide , difficile de se baigner . C’est le seul point négatif !! "

"Hotel staff very professional and view is excellent, but the AC in our room refused to work and it stubbornly remained at 24 degree Celsius (75F. ) at night and we couldn't sleep well because the room was too hot. We had to call the hotel twice and waited for about an hour to get an engineer but he couldn't fix it. "
