"This hotel is a gem if you want a slow weekend in the country. This area is stunning. The hotel is so charming, the hotel is situated right in the middle of the horse stud in beautiful historic buildings. There are birds everywhere so just lovely place to relax and listen to them. "The hotel was greatly overvalued/overpriced and unless you are a convention crowd I would not advise a couple to go there. The food was pedestrian at best and the wait staff was unable to answer how the meal would be prepared. As a result I received a meal I would not have ordered if it were accurately described. "This property really was exceptional. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and took time to show us the property upon check-in. Breakfast was truly amazing, likely the best I've seen. Location was excellent with lots to see and many great places to eat very near. There is no on-site parking, but there is a huge free lot within a 4-min walk. You need to check this out."
