"Really beautiful hotel run by a very nice family. The location is about a 10 min walk from the old town Partenkirchen and a close drive to the train station to get up to Zugispitze. Breakfast at the hotel was great and we had dinner almost every night at restaurant.
Our balcony was a wrap around one that had a beautiful view. The people we were traveling with had a smaller/less ideal balcony so I would clarify when booking what you’re getting. Also unfortunately unavoidable in the mountains but...

"The rooms were great. They were bigger than most European guesthouse rooms.
The hotel is in a quiet area of town but still within walking distance to everything.

"The only positives from this hotel are the location being right next to the train and buses, and close to the Garmisch walking district. The included breakfast was very good and beneficial as well.
On the flip side, when you first arrive everything is so modern and updated in the lobby. Then you go up to your room and it’s all run down and old. No updates done for guests rooms or hallways. The balcony next to our room’s window allowed for someone to just look into our room and they were...
