"It is actually a nice property but its attitude to guests is off the mark. The check-in instructions are complicated and officious. The door entry system is weird and puts you at the mercy of your phone's battery. They don't let you control the heating and warn against using too much hot water. They would charge you for the air you breath if only they could measure it. It feels like they would be happier if no-one stayed there. Perhaps the place is managed by Basil Fawlty?"

"Very comfortable unit in a country setting away from the congestion of York. The only negative point was that the WIFI was weak in the unit we were in. Nice, historical location. "

"For my purposes of visiting an unwell relative, it was perfect. However, if you don’t know the area it appears a bit run down. The appartments themselves have good security with cctv. I booked through travel site and found communication was not easy. I have a feeling the owners are new to letting their appartments so hopefully teething issues. The cleanliness was ok but I again suspect that it was a rush job to prepare for our stay. The apartment location is central and a short walk to the train...

"Dirty. Down a dirty alley. Smells of smoke and bad toilets. Well that was even unflushed!!. Sticky surfaces, worn down furnishings and bathroom, lack of tlc and maintenance. "
