"The property was clean but obviously an older property with dated furnishings and carpet. Only one of the lamps was plugged in and wall outlet was hard to get to. Our key card did not work and had to go to the desk and get another. The replacement card only worked once when wife went to get something from car. When returning to the room after breakfast, the replacement card did not work a second time. Lucky there was a repairman on the floor who let us back into our room."

"The room had a mildew smell as soon as I opened the door. The floors had dirty stains on them. The towels had stains, the pillows had holes.The check in staff was friendly. I went to Walmart and got supplies to clean the room, towels and pillowcases.There was not an option to switch hotels near me. "

"It definitely needs updating. No hot water to take a shower on Friday and Saturday night. I won’t stay here again. "

"Not as new as photos made it look - at all. This is an old motel. Also, not as large as pictures. Overall, pretty run down for the Best Western name. Not what I expected from Best Western - the reason I trusted it. More in line with an outdated Super 8. The only part I would give 5 star is the back lit vanity mirror which was spotless too. Tub had no traction and was super slick. Shower curtain was white and a little dingy. Bedding was white and looked old and dingy. The pillows on the king bed were about 12" square (2 per person). King beds need king pillows - or at least 4 standard minimum. These tiny pillows were crazy. Roll over, and you fall off the pillow. Door had an old rusted chain security lock. Carpet was blue and hid the dirt but had a dirty "feel" to it. No "do not disturb" sign. I noticed one person had put a home-made sticker on their door for that. Outside: 2-story "motel". Concrete cracked and stained. Everything needs a good pressure wash and things in general need an update that just paint won't fix. Paid $350 per night for a normally $80 room (about what its worth) because of special event weekend every month they jack up the prices. At check-in, although friendly, they said if you want more towels, etc. you have to come get them because "we are short staffed"."

"Stains, sticky on the floor, Mold around bath tub, shower control extremely loose, Cleaned the room and left 1 hand towel, and 1 bath towel for 2 people. Pool beer cans and pizza boxes left at pool side, and trash in the pool. We paid for 2 nights and left after 1 night. NEVER WILL I STAY AT A MOTEL 6, I WILL SLEEP IN MY CAR FIRST!!!!!"

"Breakfast was great.. We had to change rooms when we got there because we were on 3rd floor and something on roof wood come on really loud and stay on for 5 seconds and then go off for 5 seconds Very annoying . we moved to another room and had a dog next door that barked "

"Do not eat at the Nietos Mexican Restaurant next door. All I ordered was queso and chips. Queso was vivid orange like cheeze whip, lumpy and got cold quickly. The chips are not fresh. Malakoff is just down the road.... The front desk clerk was nice but got impatient because I don't hear well and she had to repeat a lot. Those sconce lights are really bright. Could use a dimmer option. Overall, my stay was good. I would stay there again."

"Staff was nice. Room was a dump. Toilet seat was carved up and bathtub wall tiles were peeling or missing paint. Room smelled funny. TV remote missing battery door, no ironing board or iron in the room. Room and property generally looked worn down. But again, staff was nice."
