"I was placed across the street into an old apartment building. The parking lot was gravel. The bedroom had no lamp, just and overhead light. It was fully separated from the main hotel. The front door, had a keypad that needed a code for entering. This pad wad cracked and was in bad shape. I wondered how often the code was changed. I had no idea when I made the reservation that I was being placed across the street."

"The property seemed a little sketchy driving upto it- 4wheel drive/SUV DEFINITELY recommended! After arriving to check in, Daniel (?) greeted us, checked us in and informed us of all we needed to know for our stay. He personally guided us to our unit, which was a nice touch. "The location was awesome! Close to everything we wanted to see. Right on the main strip so we walked the strip and visited stores in the evening and grabbed dinner. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back."

"The room was cleaned ok, not the worst, not the best. There was about a 2 inch gap under the door and a mouse came in our room and ran back out again. Since it was 10pm, and the mouse ran back out, we just shoved towels under the door and got everything off the floor. When we told the front desk gal in the morning while checking out, she didn't seem to care, just said ok. They really need to put a sweep under the doors and get some pest control. "Staff was good and attentive. Hotel itself is outdated. Very basic, no frills. Room wasn’t clean for the most part, moved the chair in the room and found a full pack of ritz crackers on the floor and an unopened cowtail candy on the side of the bed. not sure how long that had been there. Lights and corners had noticeable dirt collecting. The beds were horrible. Very lumpy. Back hurt every morning during the 5 day stay."

"The location is the best as it is less than 2 miles from mount rushmore and easy drive to custer and crazy horse and needle highway. They dont clean the rooms everyday and the rooms are outdated. the hand soap and body wash ran out. The breakfast is simple but its a great on the go eat. There is parking on site and they will need the info of your car. Food places right next door and more about 10 min walk."
