"Loved this hotel! The hotel sent over the check in instructions days ahead of time, really easy to follow and to get into our room. Big beautiful room with mini fridge and coffee in the room . Was really easy to park right by our patio to load and unload the car."

"Wonderful stay with breathtaking views overlooking Akureyri and the surrounding mountains. The hotel is modern, spotless, and very peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring North Iceland. The rooms were comfortable and beautifully designed, and Tor who greeted us wonderfully was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious with fresh local options. Best strawberries and croissants we ever had. Forest Lagoon is around the corner so it’s a big plus. Also many dining options in the town which is only 5 mins away. Only problem you may have is that icy roads- especially the hill. Parking is plenty and free. A hidden gem with an amazing atmosphere — highly recommended."

"I booked a triple room with Expedia and the listing says: three twin beds. Hotel Kea gave me: two twin beds and a sofa bed... If i wanted a sofa bed i could have booked anywhere else... When we told Hotel Kea our rooms were incorrect they said there was nothing that they can do.
Maybe there was some sort of miscommunication between Expedia and Hotel Kea. But if you were to book a hotel, why take the risk? I recommend you book elsewhere and save yourself the trouble."

"Beds are insanely comfortable. Rooms are small, but had everything we needed. A bit loud by the street and toilet paper was almost out, but otherwise a solid stay! Great value and experience."
