"This was exactly as described. My sister and I shared a double twin bed room with shared bathroom. We never dealt with unclean bathrooms and showers were readily available despite plenty of other guests. The decor was charming and heart felt and the common space was comfortable and inviting. The surrounding area was gorgeous and we got to see the northern lights in the pitch black of the countryside, just hearing the sheep bleeting at us and ocean waves crashing behind them. "

"Die Lage der Unterkunft ist super. Jedes Zimmer ist mit einem Waschbecken ausgestattet. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß und wir hatten einen tollen Blick auf Dyrholaey. Die Besitzerin ist sehr nett und gibt viele Tipps. Auf Anfrage wird sogar die Wäsche gewaschen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt."

"Kleines Gästehaus, am Ortsrand. Das Haus ist sehr zu empfehlen, schöne Zimmer und gute Sitzmöglichkeiten im Wintergarten. Zimmer 7 (?) sollte man meiden, nur durch die Küche zugänglich. Für uns war das Haus ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt die Insel zu erkunden. Würde jederzeit wiederkommen. "

"Got this on short term for one overnight, everything worked, good WiFi. Note that there is another guesthouse with similar name some hundred metres behind."

"Quiet, comfortable stay on a farm that was just outside of Vik and close to Dyrholaey and Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach. There are 5 rooms with a shared kitchen, sitting area and 2 bathrooms. The bathrooms were modern and spacious, and even though they were 'shared,' there was always at least one open whenever needed. The other guests were quiet and considerate, so we would definitely stay here again."

"Quaint little guesthouse! The stairs are very narrow so moving luggage is a bit difficult but the location is great. We stayed 2 nights and the radiator in the bedroom wasn’t working but the property managers left a couple of beers for us knowing that they are still renovating and it was warm enough with just the one radiator. Would stay again! "

"First of all, I had read the reviews about getting a hold of the owner to get your pin code and room and anticipated some difficulty doing the same. They had two numbers listed on the wall outside. "Firs they forgot to send us the code for the lock box. With the bad signal I had in that location it was very difficult to call them. After about 5 attempts they finally picked up the phone and they give me the information which they supposed to do at least 24 hours before our arrival. No apologies or anything like that, it sounded like this is normal and I've seen other gests having the same problem. If you like to stay in a wooden tent for one night is okay but don't pay the price of a normal...
