Not as advertised

This is advertised as a hotel and it is most definitely a road side motel. Transitioning to new owners, rooms and property are a mess. oom that was booked was not was offered on site, instead I was charged $20 more for the room that was pictured on hotels.com- credit card information was written in a notebook. Zero on the professional property scale.

This is not a hotel it is a motel. Doors closed when arrived at site. Called customer service first time too bad. Second call they called owner. Took me almost hour to get resolved and got in.

Overall is ok, but need some repairs

I arrived around 9:40 pm, the office was close but I found a phone number on the door, I called and the manager took my credit card number on the phone and gave me a code to enter my room. So far it was ok, I understand that he was not there because I didn’t notify them of my late arrival. It was simple but strange. The room was nice but the AC unit was not sealed to the wall, there is 1inch gap around the AC that let the cold air enter with the noise of the highway. The isolation is poor and the room is very noisy. The furniture and the atmosphere of the room is nice though.

Nice location right on the lake. Room was very clean. You don't have to check in or out at an office, they text you a code for the room. I thought that was innovative. Bathroom is small but I liked the shower a lot. A little noisy because of the highway but that didn't bother us.

We had a late check in and i had to call 4x to get my room number and code. When we arrived they had given me the wrong room and i barged in a party going on. We finally received the right room number !!! We woke to NO ELECTRICITY and had to get ready for our Cheer competition in the dark, very unhappy and would appreciate my money back !!!!!!

Nice small place!

Was a great small place and I do mean small LOL but if that doesn’t bother you great place to stay I’m sure better during the warm weather... it appears you can hang out closer to the water... But it wasn’t quite the night for that last night!

Great place to stay! Seamless check-in, clean room, and VERY comfortable bed. Although Expedia screwed up our reservation, the staff at the Lakeview Motel was happy to remedy the situation without hassle and took excellent care of us, even thought we checked in late in the evening! We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area.

It was really nice for the money. Nothing fancy at all, but the room was nice and clean and the property is right on the water. There is no interaction with staff....they text you your room number and number to access your room. I stayed in the basic room....double bed (or the smallest queen I’ve ever seen),....very small and hardly any blankets. It consisted of a sheet and very thin throw blanket. It’s fine as long as you turn the heat up so you don’t get cold....or sleep with someone else to keep warm! In short, it’s a great place for the money. I would definitely stay there again.

Horrible place.

This place was a joke. The pics are not accurate at all. The inside of the rooms look nothing like the picture. Walls were so thin we could hear everything going on in the next room. My husband sat in the bed and it sounded like it was made from a card board box. DI NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE!!! No one on site to talk too. You had to call a number and they sent you a code to get into room. We ended up leaving and did not get any kind of refund. Sent message to owners and got no response back!! Worse experience ever!!

Bathroom is small and set up uncomfortable to move. Bed is tilted towards only nightstand. No place to plug phone near bed. Nice you don’t have to go through check in process. Just made reservation and received room number and entry code by text. Never saw an employee. No ice machine anywhere. Lovely view.

make sure you are 100% sure you want to stay here. Long story short booked room for wrong day, contacted within minutes by email and by phone as soon as business hours started. Refused refund and no offer to switch credit to correct day. Just a discount if I decided to stay there again... really? Why would anyone stay after being charged for a night you werent even going to be there?

Great spot

You must have a cell phone! They text you room number and door code. Very clean great view, bbq grills, fire pit,picnic tables to enjoy great lake view. But not for larger people you wont fit in the world's smallest bathroom. We had a nice kitchen no coffee cups tho.Had to maneuver around the sink to use the toilet. Nobody on site for any issue just a phone number on the door

There was a doodie in the toilet upon getting the room, toilet was broken, shower didn’t have warm water, bed was stained and uncomfortable, smelled of smoke, they didn’t have conditioner, there was old soap with hair on it on the sink, tv didn’t work, and the pictures did not match at all what the room looked like in person... we had to leave early because it was so bad
