"Entrance door to room had to be slammed to close. Bathroom door wouldn't close. It looked like there was a gun fight in the room with so many holes patched and not painted over. Air conditioner was so loud you couldn't sleep anyway. Got there at 8 pm and left by 3 am cuz I just couldn't sleep."

"The staff here were very good. The rooms however left a lot to be desired. I found a bug on my pillow. On top of the fitted sheet were some small, hard black things that could have been bugs or rat turds. The bathroom was gross. The sink was a sunken sink and there was mold around the rim of the porcelain part of the sink. There was mold in the caulk that went around the edge of the bathtub. "No hot water! Room smelled musty/moldy, husband says I coughed all night in my sleep. Bed was hard as a rock & stained. Cheap stay but never again…"

"There was a dirty washcloth hanging from the shower that I found when I pulled the curtain for my first shower. There were also bugs in the bathroom. I called ahead and asked for extra caffeinated coffee in my room to make coffee and when I arrived they gave me 4 packets of DEcaffeinated coffee and told me they didn't have any coffee with caffeine. "Convenient from highway and a clean hotel"

"We only needed somewhere to lay our heads for a night and for the price, it was perfectly fine! My back is killing me from the bed but other than that it was clean and the breakfast was actually better than most places we have stayed. Front desk was also friendly!"

"Stayed here as it was the cheapest place I could find close to Harper's Ferry, 30 min away. Similar to what you'd expect at a super 8, could use some updating at least concerning the rooms' exterior glass doors. Looks like several people are living the hotel life while I was there, but my room was clean and bedding was nice. Not far from interstate and lots of shopping nearby."

"Nice, unique place to stay. In the woods, with our building is unlike anywhere else where we have stayed. I would stay here again. It is like being in a campsite, but staying in a hotel room. Since the buildings are not attached to any others, there is zero noise from neighbors."

"This is a cute little cottage that could use a little love. The hot tub was nice and very hot, but quite public. You're surrounded by houses. Overall, it's a cheap place that feels cheap. Also checkout is actually at 11, though the listing says 12. "

"Everything was perfect from check in to check out. This place was a great choice for my 21st wedding anniversary. The peace & quiet along with the privacy was great. Everything we needed for the stay was accommodated. We would've stayed even longer if it was available. That being said we will be back again soon. Definitely worth the money. Only thing I would strongly suggest to other guests is to bring a 4x4 or all wheel drive. I watched others struggle to get up the hill."
