"The hotel was located on a slope . If you call a taxi, they will be able to go up the slope . My daughter and I call Uber and we had to literally haul up our luggages up the slope to reach the hotel . So that really take away the nice experience I had staying at the hotel ."

"Great location-felt like we could step outside and engage in all the activities around us as it was central to many points of interest for us. Then we could retreat to a quiet space and have a nap before heading out to a nice dinner of evening if Fado. Highly recommend!"

"It was our first stay at this hotel and I could not praise their services enough. All staff are exceedingly attentive and friendly. The accommodation was excellent, Breakfast very good and varied and the swimming pool was really good, heated (rare in Portugal) at the right temperature. The bar service by the pool was also excellent. Front desk staff helped us with booking restaurants, taxis, transfers, places to visit and with every question we had. "Cons 1. Hairdryer was jammed when we checked in & the head had to be replaced as it was inoperable due to hair jammed into the head of the hairdryer. 2. The website says air-conditioned rooms but staff informed they are air cooled.The first night was very sweaty & uncomfortable to get sleep. Staff asked us to open the window for ventilation.This wasn't an option as this overlooks a highway & lot of traffic noise. 3. "Location was great, staff was nice as well just the breakfast wasn’t good but that doesn’t define if I would stay at the hotel again or not since I like to travel out for breakfast too. Rooftop is a cute touch for night time to sit and relax and watch the river and the nice view."
