"Wonderful hotel overlooking the sea, absolutely great meals were had here, a terrific bar and a very helpful and friendly staff. We had a double room with view of the sea, the fort and the cliffs, it was epic and very relaxing. We can’t wait to return!"

"The property is in a beautiful setting surrounded by lush greenery and the views of the sunset and ocean from our balcony was amazing. The beach is a short 5 min walk down the trail from the property. The town of ferragudo is about 2 km from the property and takes 20 to 25 min to walk via the beach or down the road. We enjoyed the peace of the pool and surrounding lounging areas. Highly recommend and will definitely come back. The staff were especially nice."

"Wij hadden geluk met een upgrade dus prachtige kamer met prima badkamer helaas werden de gebruikte spullen ( douchegel e.d) niet aangevuld. Ontbijt goed maar zeer rumoerig in de eetzaal. Ligbedden vreselijk! Geen parasols te bekennen alleen een klepje boven je hoofd. Geen schaduw plaatsen bij de bar en eten bij de bar ronduit vies. Personeel aardig. Voor ons geen 2e keer"

"Family-friendly and beautiful apartments perfect for a longer stay! Really enjoyed the views and amenities including the kitchenette. Just note we found the beds a little hard and while they offer a daily cleaning service, there are a few amenities like coffee/dishwasher pods and laundry detergent that you may need to purchase for yourself (there’s a great market closer to the beach). Steep hills but they offer an excellent shuttle service free of charge covering most hours you’d need it."

"Loved the location and grounds, doing some work on property, some of cabanas and gazebos needed work. Great path to cliffs, and pathways great. Breakfast was great, lots of selection. Pools looked lovely. Part of facility ran out of water our 2nd night and part of next day, no coffee etc at breakfast or shower access. It did come back, but we were checking out. Loved the authentic feeling of it."

"We love off the beaten path places to stay. This place was lovely right next to a nature preserve with a gorgeous view of the cliffs on the ocean. The beach is not easily accessible. The staff is what really made the place stand out. They went above and beyond to accommodate us and give us suggestions for restaurants and excursions. I would highly recommend."

"Very well located hotel with beach access directly in front of hotel entrance and across the street from a pedestrian friendly roadway with plenty of shopping and restaurant options. Also a short walk to a local casino. Hotel hot/cold breakfast buffet is wonderful; free beach towel service available. Free hotel wifi was excellent. Room was a modern decor and kept very clean. Staff was helpful and pleasant. If you need a quick ride locally, uber and other ride sharing services were available...

"We had a lovely stay here. The offstreet parking was a bonus! Super close to restaurants and the beach. A great place to start the seven hanging valleys trail walk. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was super friendly and helpful.Lots of recommendations. Try the restaurant across the street and get the seafood rice it was amazing."
