"The room was clean but needed a fresh coat of paint to cover paint chips in the walls. The bathroom door need a good washing to remove spots. The bathroom needed new chalking. The breakfast even though continental was definitely minimal compared to other hotels. The staff only greeted us as we walked through the lobby after we spoke to them. The parking was great. The bed frame stuck out into the bathroom doorway so that it was a hazard especially at night. "

"Don’t be fooled by the beautiful lobby — it gives a completely misleading first impression. The room we were originally assigned was absolutely unacceptable. The moment we walked in, we were hit with a strong cigarette smell that clung to everything, even after just a few seconds. The room itself felt old, dirty, and even moldy. We immediately turned around and went back to the front desk because there was no way we could stay there.
