"This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. "The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room we stayed had a great view of the ocean. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The restaurant was elegant yet comfortable. The food was delicious, especially the tallow potato wedges and the steak. They cooked it well-done all the way through, as I had ordered. The surrounding grounds were beautiful and peaceful. "
