"Historical building, charming, friendly staff, great food"

"Nicely furnished large room Mine faced the waterfront although all I could see was a chain link fence as the boardwalk was apparently closed for repairs My stay was significantly affected Negatively due the hotels failure to provide any housekeeping services. Apparently one is required to specifically request it in check in which is something I have never experienced in all my travels In addition it was impossible to get a plain cup of coffee out of the common coffee dispenser in the lobby. "Room was not good. needs serious updates. Stains on the couch, blankets not new with strings hanging from them. Cracks in the wall and ceiling and the hot water did not work in the morning."

"Toast/cold cereal/yogurt/fruit/coffee/juice for breakfast, not worth it for an adult but ok for our small children. Room felt dark, beds aren’t uncomfortable, shower was stuck in the on position so I had to fill up the bath with the shower for the small children. Glad it had a microwave and fridge in room. "
