"We stayed for three nights in Snowy Lodge. Check in was easy, your keys are left in an envelope in the small reception, theres a map on the wall to tell you where to go. Take note with regards to check in and check out. Hotels.com states check in at 5 o'clock when its actually between 4 and 5 and check out at 9 when its actually 9:30 to 10. "We were attending a gig a Ludlow Castle, most accommodation was booked or expensive at Ludlow for the night of the gig so we chose to stop at Stokestay Hotel because there was a train station close that we could catch there and back. The Stokesay staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and tidy, breakfast was excellent and bar prices good so we would not hesitate to stop there again."

"The only negative was we were not informed that they do not provide food on Sunday or Monday evenings but there are places within a 5 min drive. The room was very clean and bed was very comfy. As it was exstreamly warm we were provided a life saver fan. All staff were very welcoming and attentive and worked very hard. We had no noise at night as it’s situated in a quite village. Breakfast was perfect every morning with plenty of choice. We would definitely recommend the Talbot hotel to our family and friends. Thanks to every one for a great stay."

"We stayed in the comfort suite. With the exception of a slightly strange smell, which was easily rectified, the accommodation exceeded our expectations. We would happily stay there again. Facilities were excellent, towels extremely soft, addition if bath robes were very welcome. The hotel garden had amazing views. Only downside was parking could be a little restricted."
