"I always stay at the Hudson Plaza Motel when I come into NYC. It's affordable, great value and located close to public transport easy to get to Jersey City and into Manhattan Every room I have stayed in has been clean and very comfortable. There is laundry on site and the staff are always welcoming and helpful "

It appeared the lock had actually been cut out so when you wedged a towel under the door to keep it shut, there was still an inch by inch or so peep hole into the bathroom. Also, our room wasn't straightened up. Besides that the property was maintained well and clean."

"Best location for public transportation. Room was big, clean and love the crabtree and evelyn shampoo and conditioner. Left an earring after we checkout, the lost and found department was very helpful, we went back and Sayed was already waiting for us. Thank you so much Sayed! Downside was having to pay extra for parking. Overall it was a good place to stay. We will recommend this hotel to our family and friends."

"Huge disappointment!! Money spent not worth the experience. Phones down couldn’t communicate with staff on site. Tents are filthy, need to be deep cleaned. Dusty and dirty. Cobwebs in almost all the corners. Dead bugs all over the light fixture in my shower. The grounds leave a lot to be desired not groomed at all. Not picturesque at all!! "The staff was helpful! Unfortunately upon arrival in the lobby a mouse ran by my husband and I. We felt uneasy about staying! Check in explained it occasionally happens as the hotel is located next to path trains. We decided to continue with our plans and the room was clean so we stayed and all was fine."

"Good hotel for the price, next to the train station which was helpful. Inside bar was alright, breakfast was alright as well but a lot of the tables we’re dirty so turn around time on that could improve. Would book again if needed a last minute hotel in Jersey."
