"Following surgery my husband and I spent a couple nights away at this wonderful resort. Due to limitations with mobility we did not venture away from the hotel other than to visit the beach cafe opposite for dinner and instead enjoyed the resorts own gardens and spa. I pre booked a full body massage which was very relaxing and therapeutic. Whilst there my husband and I booked the 2 hour hydrothermal experience which costs £40 for guests or £25 as an add on if you have booked a massage. It was well worth it as we had gorgeous weather so made full use of the outdoor facilities too. Afterwards we went into the garden which offered a little shade from the hot sun and read our books. Feeling a little hungry we ventured inside to eat in Nourish where we enjoyed freshly cooked pizza, quiche n salad leaves, homemade coleslaw which we shared. Breakfast is served in the Brasserie restaurant offering a great variety of fresh fruit, yoghurt, juices, meats, cheese, pancakes, croissants, toast and a choice of freshly cooked breakfast meal choices. The beach opposite gave a beautiful backdrop to our relaxing break away. The staff are welcoming, helpful and spend time on the guests to talk and check all is as it should be."
"I booked last minute to stay here and the pictures looked ok on hotels.com.
In reality, it was my worst experience checking in and when I eventually got the key to my room (ROOM 1) it was in the worst condition I've ever experienced.
I waited 45 minutes whilst the hotel guy spoke in Arabic (he told another guest he was speaking in Arabic so I haven't guessed) to his colleagues/other person behind the desk. After 30 minutes of him coming and going and no room forthcoming I asked again what was happening. He said they were waiting for my room.
Another guy then negotiated a cash price for a room and was promptly given a key.
My key came after 45 minutes - I asked if my room was clean to which he replied yes!!!!
In between the chaos other guests upped and left the hotel - it looked like in desperation. Once I got to my room I found unmade, slept in beds covered in urine. I have pictures to support this. I stayed in the room for less than a minute and immediately checked out. The hotel staff were not bothered in the slightest as they had my money. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY. IT IS NOT A HOTEL"
"The Falmouth is a great hotel and very beautiful. The rooms are always comfortable and well equipped.
The only negatives we encountered were the Car Park, which is alway busy (probably due to the fact that the hotel offers Gym and Health Club membership). There were occassions where there were literally no spaces.
The other area where there could be improvement is the Breakfast. The continental buffet was lacking in choice and the cooked breakfast came out looking unappealing, undercooked bacon and the poached egg had very runny white."
"Stunning building, easy parking, great location, and the staff were brilliant. The room was decent but the bed was average, carpets are a bit worn, and a few bits haven't been dusted in a while. There's some mould in the bathroom too - not ideal, but nothing a quick bleach or clean couldn't fix. Two of our three nights had weddings going until midnight - noisy outside but fine in the room. Happy with our stay and would stay again, just needs a bit of attention."
