"Jorge was so welcoming. He was always available to offer a suggestion or direction The facility was VERY nicely appointed from the towels and sheets to the tissues. Every light was spot lighting a beautiful object in the room. The ligjts would come on magically as you entered and turned off just as effortlessly. The common area on the second floor was a wonderful addition and allowed for an open space to enjoy wine and a snack. "

"This claims to be a luxury hotel. It is NOT. More like a 4 star at the low end. The main restaurant only had seating on a patio on a busy street....the actual restaurant was closed up. Breakfast was mediocre at best. The room was so outdated...and things just didn't work properly."

"Excellent hotel. Beautiful. Attention to detail. Friendly and helpful staff. We had two adjoining rooms. Unfortunately, the A/C did not work in one room (during the heat wave). It was frustrating that this problem was not resolved during our stay. But the front desk applied a credit towards our bill. Breakfast was delicious. Excellent Location."

"This is a wonderful hotel, located across from the Mirabell Palace and centrally located within a short walk to all of the major Salzburg attractions. This was our second time staying there and we would enthusiastically recommend it to anyone travelling to Salzburg for business or pleasure. "What a way to start our vacation. The hotel aesthetic was modern, inviting, clean and comfortable. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable and cosy. The location was centrally located. Easy walk to old town but not in a crowded busy area. The restaurant was also very nice. The porch area provided the perfect ambiance for breakfast and dinner. All the food was fresh, local and delicious. Lastly the staff were incredibly kind, accommodating and friendly. Would 10 out of 10...

"The guy who checked us in Szlotan was not helpful and when I came back down to mention there was no bottled water as promised - he said there should be complimentary water on the tables - i said there is none - he said in Germany you can drink from the taps - the lady at checkout was very helpful and apologized on his behalf but we were now checking out. Overall property was average for rate paid and service was not great."
