"Terrible experience. I wish we had not prepaid because we would have left after the first night due to their hostile, unhelpful staff. My husband is disabled and we almost missed a very important appointment because of the rude front desk. The general manager used ChatGPT to send a response to my complaint, taking zero accountability for her operation. The whole experience was a nightmare, start to finish."

"The room was nicely renovated and room was very spacious. The room has microwave and fridge. The curtains kept most of the sun out. Lots of channels to browse from. Cleaning staff were excellent. The towels were very tiny, I would recommend bringing your own bath towels if you plan to stay longer, as well as pillows. There was only 2 pillows on the bed, I usually prefer 2 per person since these pillows were extremely thin, and the bed wasn’t very comfy either. Overall if those last things don’t...

"I love Hotel SLO and have stayed there several times. It’s a beautiful property, in the middle of downtown, with ridiculously comfortable beds and an excellent staff. Unfortunately, the last couple times I’ve stayed there have been some maintenance issues in the rooms that have not been addressed. The door to our bathroom was very difficult to slide and all in all everything in the bathroom was loose, tired, and needed attention. It feels like Hotel SLO is riding on its laurels and not working...

"Our experience at Garden Street Inn was exceptional. Situated downtown, it offers easy access to numerous restaurants. The included made-to-order breakfast was excellent. Other guests were quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel lacks its own parking lot, but there is a free loading/unloading zone in front, along with nearby free street parking and a pay parking garage. If parking isn't a concern, I highly recommend staying here. I wish all hotels treated their guests this well!"

"I loved the entire property and operation. Really exceptional I thought for the money. The only complaint is that mattress was too firm and hurt both my wife and caused pain in our hips while sleeping on it."

"There is a lot of noise in the room from people and things traveling up and down the walk-way outside. Lovely property that is reasonably priced - so I would consider staying again. But I would make sure that I could be in the second room so that the hall noise isn't such an issue. Breakfast bar is awesome."
