"The staff was super friendly and helpful. The cabin seemed to be freshly renovated with beautiful all-wood interior. Furniture and bedding were clean. Sufficient chinaware and pots/pans for 6 people. However, the cabin and public restrooms on the grounds were infested with cockroaches and ants. For that reason, there's no way I would eat at the on-site restaurant! And second, there is no pool even though a pool is advertised on the website. Staff said, "Oh yeah, we need to take that off...

"I love small older family owned hotels and this was the best of the best. Wonderful staff and owner, nice room, great pool and it is on a hill looking down onto the riverfront where they have a bait, tackle and gift store with a restaurant inside for breakfast and lunch. We had breakfast there both days, it was very good with homemade biscuits. You can put your boat in right there, and several other restaurants in walking distance. We had a great stay and they have a full coffee pot in each...

"We enjoyed our stay during a short fishing trip with friend and family. It was very convenient to the ramp just a few miles to Keaton beach acsess. We would book again to this property if available."
