"It was a beautiful location. The cottages are well equipped. There was a bit of a musty smell. I think that could have been the carpets in the bedrooms and sitting area. Wooden floors would be more hygienic. Having the hotel so close was the effect for the leisure centre and bar! A great weekend all considered and I will be back!"

"Room was good but a lot of road noise could be heard. We paid full price for an upgrade to a superior room but was then asked to pay a further £30 for breakfast even though all the superior room are breakfast included on the website. We didn’t complain but just pointed it out that if we’d booked a superior room initially, we would’ve had our breakfast included in the price. All in all the staff were friendly but under the circumstances, I think they could’ve done more to accommodate us with breakfast since we’d paid exactly the same anyway and have 2 happy returning guests. "
