"We were greeted by a friendly lady upon check-in at The Marlin Hotel, and she really set the standard for the rest of our stay. Thankfully, we weren’t disappointed. Even the small touches stood out — the doors constantly being opened for guests, the warm welcomes every time we returned, and the friendly send-offs whenever we headed out. "Great location close to Ocean drive and bus/trolley rides. The breakfast was great with a variety of food. We had a squeaky bed but it was comfortable. Guss helped us plan our 3 nites we were there. "

"We stayed at this hotel for two nights and were planning to extend our stay for two more nights. We asked the front desk if it would be possible to get a one-hour late check-out while we processed the new booking online. Unfortunately, the staff member at the front desk was very rude in his response and simply said, “You have to leave at 11.” I completely understand that sometimes late check-outs are not possible due to availability, but it was the tone and attitude that were disappointing....

"Grrat location, nice staff, restaurant gives 20% off if you stay in the hotel and order food from them. Very close to beach line, hotel provide beach towels:) The room was clean, as well as bathroom, however was feeling that there some un-done touch-ups on a walls, was patched marks, but not painted. "Overall, I had a very positive experience staying here. The hotel is located in a very convenient area of South Beach, which was perfect for the places I wanted to go.
