The room was clean and bed was comfy. Front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool was very cloudy though and so was the hot tub, it just didn’t seem clean. Service in the restaurant inside the hotel is horrible.

I initially did not book here but was inconvenienced by the first hotel, I arrived here and they had rooms available but at the moment they did not have working cable. You can’t be at a hotel room and not able to watch tv. When we got down to the pool area there were numerous kids but the parents was letting them do whatever so it was not enjoyable. We left and came back Sunday morning 2 hours before checkout only to be told that the pool was closed for cleaning because the kids from the previous day decided to stick their clothing items inside of the drainage system of the pool, you could literally see all kinds of floating particles on top of the water. I just feel like at some point the staff should intervene and make sure the parents are actually watching their children and making sure they are abiding by the rules.

Not my favorite
When I arrived, I was greeted nicely by the front desk gentleman. The first room I was assigned to was a double queen, and it was dirty. I returned to the front desk and was quickly attended to by the front desk, and quickly assigned a second room. Which ended up being a king size bed, which is not technically what I ordered however, this particular stay, I could actually deal with the king size bed, so I did not change rooms. The room itself was clean, however when I took a shower, there was still hair in the drain. That was somebody else’s, which was absolutely disgusting. The TV was large but the screen color was terrible. In the morning I had breakfast I guess if that’s what you call it coffee was horrible milk sat out on the counter from 7 AM to 10 AM with no cooling method. There was French toast, scrambled eggs, and potatoes for breakfast, they did not even offer a meat and cereal with warm milk I was absolutely disgusted. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were large. It needs new carpet or at least to be cleaned. I did like the decorations in the hotel.

I thought all Holiday Express Hotels had breakfast every day .This one only has it Saturday and Sunday mornings . So that was disappointing since I was there Monday thru Thursday mornings . I usually stay at this brand of hotels too .

The plumbing needs major work. I tried taking a shower and the water was draining very slow. The bathroom sink was the same way. It would immediately get filled up with water.

Not that happy
The front desk people were amazing. The room was ok, it was so outdated and the carpets all over were dirty. Outside the carpet was never vacuumed because the same things were on it for the whole three days and nights. I had no toilet paper had to ask the front desk for it. So at that point, I did not trust for a housecleaner to come into my room so I kept my privacy up the whole time. If they can't even clean properly and do their job then they probably can't be trusted.

Due to Covid, the restaurant was not open for dinner. There were some minor cleaning and painting repairs that were evidently not being made due to Covid. Staff was awesome.

I was so hopeful
The hotel was clean and quiet. Bed and pillows were great. Had to go get some caffeinated coffee and cream and sugar at the reception desk. My supplies were lacking. Snuggled in to sleep and then some loud, inconsiderate guests came in at 11 pm. Loud voices and slamming doors until 4 in the morning. Why do hotel doors always slam? Every time I was woken up l heard the constant drip of the air conditioner condensation from the ceiling to the floor. Put a towel down on the floor and by morning it was sopping wet. The whole area from the room to the bathroom was wet and slippery. There are no microwaves in the rooms. There is one to use in an alcove but a guest had left an awful mess for the rest of us. Each room needs a microwave because of this. Sharing is not an option. I know that the hotel cannot control their guests, but with the room problems and the guests it was kind of a miserable experience, particularly for the cost. A voucher for the restaurant would have been appreciated and should have been included with the stay.

Charge for the room was on my credit card well before we checked in. At check in I was informed there would be an additional $100 "deposit" added to the card. Hotel clerk had no explanation - "It's policy". Make no sense. I will no longer stay at Holiday Inn or an IHG Hotel.

Our room was clean, the air conditioning worked very well in our room and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly. Unfortunately I noticed that the carpeting in the hallway was dirty and walls were banged up. Outside there was broken glass in the parking lot, which was concerning for safety and walking our dogs.

Holiday inn hospitality was a joke.
Overpriced garbage. Had to talk to front desk multiple times. Three towels for a family of four. One bottle of soap. They also charge your credit card $100 dollars for incidentals. Wouldn’t they just pull money off a credit card anyway if something came up missing or was damaged? The pool area was a joke. So many people doing backflips into 4ft of water, glass being broken and dropping in the water. No towels available in pool area. Had to go to front desk again.

Do not stay at this hotel!
I came to the hotel because my power is out at home. We booked this room off hotels.com. Upon arriving to the hotel there was a gentleman at the front desk trying to get a room key that was not in his name. We get checked in and get to the elevator and there is a person who looks like they are overdosing on heroin, sitting in the chairs by the elevator. We get to our room 214 and there is make up, blood, hair, used towels everything in the room. The room also had a broken thermostat. Absolutely nasty! I am including pictures as we were only here for a few minutes before we called the front desk saying we need a refund. This hotel was not up to standards by any means! Also as we were walking out there is trash in the hallways and a dog in room 219 who sounded like it was going to bust through the door at us! Video attached as well. This is completely unacceptable. I need a response back on how your going to handle this because I need a refund. Spoke to management and they say since we booked through hotels.com only a higher up can refund- still waiting. Was in the room for an entire 5 minutes if that.
