We chose to stay in Floridia to give easy access to the Catania airport for an early flight. Of all our lodging spots, B&B Mediterraneo was the least prepared for our arrival and provided the lowest level of service. It is actually a suite of rooms on the 3rd floor of an apartment building. "The location of this hotel is ideal! Directly between the train station and Ortigia. Easy walking to many different restaurants. We very much enjoyed our short stay here and the daily activities hosted by the Hotel. My only iffy thing was the tiles in the bathroom (the shower specifically) seemed a bit older and maybe not as cleanly as it could be, but all in all the room was quite nice. "
