The hotel looks kind of isolated when you arrive, but there are plenty of cafes and restaurants within 200 to 600 meters in pretty much any direction. The hotel is very nice and Bastia was a really fun place."

A bit more variety at breakfast would have been nice (exactly the same selection for almost two weeks), but a great pizza at the adjoining beach bar made up for that."
