2/10 Terrible

"When we arrived they were short staffed and the manager told the front desk staff that “it was not quite 3:00 yet so we needed to chill”. Very unprofessional in my opinion. It was 2:45 when we arrived so right before checkin time at 3:00. After waiting 30 minutes, we left to get food and our room still wasn’t ready until 4:45. We will not be back to this hotel."

"I never leave reviews but felt the need to do so this time. Staff was helpful when we got back to our room and the tv would not work. The room worked for us since we were there for a baseball tournament but our room really needed a deep cleaning. They didn’t empty the trash or change out the towels the day before we were to leave. Also the towels were almost threadbare and need replacing. Continental breakfast was very minimal. We stayed here in 2020 and it has gone down drastically in the upkeep. Glad we had a place to stay but will not choose to stay here in the future."

"I honestly wanted to give this hotel a 2 out of 5, but I’m giving it a 3 solely because the staff was pleasant and the location is right on the beach. That’s really the highlight. The hotel is pet-friendly, which I understand, but it definitely impacts cleanliness. I think pet rooms should be limited to certain floors, and guests should be notified ahead of time. When we stepped out of our room, we encountered another guest whose dog had made a mess in the hallway. She initially just left it there and only came back after my sister said something. That was very off-putting. The pool area is just okay, but the pool towels are low quality, and the hot tub seriously needs a thorough cleaning. Overall, it has potential because of the location and friendly staff, but the cleanliness and upkeep need improvement."

"Honestly that stay was pretty solid. My big gripe is that we arrived at 3:50 10 minutes before checkout and we called before we got there and asked if we could check in when we got there. They said yes, but when we got there the room wasn’t ready and we had to wait till 4:25 to check in because that’s when the room was done cleaning. Just a major inconvenience when we had to get ready to be somewhere in an hour. Plus we payed a pretty penny to be there so it was upsetting. The room though was solid and clean and had everything we needed."

"Perfect proximity to the beach & having a pool also was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The bathroom was a clean but a little run down. Definitely needs a new shower stall & trim redone. Was convenient to have the free breakfast and the made to order omelette station was awesome! The rest of the breakfast food was equal to what you would buy in a gas station. Packaged pastries, semi decent apples and bananas. Just not a lot else to offer! Unfortunately, their coffee was pretty bad too. We found a nearby restaurant called Kitty‘s Café, which I highly recommend! It’s a little bit more fun to go out and eat for breakfast when you’re on vacation anyway. :) Overall, the day was good and I would definitely book there again!"
