"The staff was professional and friendly. They spoke enough English to answer basic questions. The bed was more comfortable than most places. The basic room was spacious for one person.
The breakfast was wonderful! Sausage or bacon, eggs, crepes, croissants, deli meat, cheese, variety of jams and nutella, yogurt and cappuccino machine for EUR 13.50 each day. Well worth the price and my favorite thing about the hotel.
My only concern is the AC kept turning off on it's own, even in the middle of the night.
Otherwise, a solid hotel."
"We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Le Lac. The hotel was nice enough, and the staff were welcoming.
Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice, and the dining room was particularly impressive — very elegant and beautifully presented.
Overall, it was a nice hotel with a great breakfast, although the room décor felt a little tired and would benefit from an update. Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning, which wasn’t ideal during the heatwave we experienced."
"Check-in time is fixed and there seems to be little flexibility about this. However, the location is stunning. The dinner outside was excellent and the swimming pool is much appreciated"
"We were only staying overnight as we travelled to family in Switzerland. The hotel is well appointed, self parking available and a beautiful view. The complimentary water in the fridge was appreciated.
Breakfast was of a good standard and the staff were all very helpful and efficient"
"The manager of the restaurant (Pascal, I think?) was the NICEST and friendliest man I've met on my trip through France. Just an angel, especially with my allergies. Fellow Americans, just know that there is no A/C whatsoever. But it's a great location with wonderfully quiet rooms."
"Fantastic view of Genève from the French Jura mountain side. Hotel was redone recently and is super clean and rooms have great design and modern bathrooms. Enjoying breakfast on the patio overlooking the lake and Genève is a must"
