"I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel in Fontainebleau. Although I had a busy schedule and did not have much time to interact with the staff, the two receptionists I met at check in and check out made a great impression. Both were exceptionally kind, professional, and helpful. They took the time to assist me with everything I needed and made the whole experience smooth and welcoming. Their positive attitude and excellent service contributed greatly to my stay. Thank you for the warm welcome and hospitality. I would be happy to stay here again and would gladly recommend this hotel to others visiting Fontainebleau."

"The daily rate warrants a reconsideration. While the double room was in a smaller side, the sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable and spacious enough to accommodate 2 more people (genuine highlight). However, the absence of a smart TV made it impossible to access basic streaming services such as Netflix. The room has a balcony but it was left much to be desired, as it was noticeably unclean. Another genuine highlight was the warm pool and the sauna. Finally the breakfast offered was quiet disappointing to the point where we opted to skip it on 3 different occasions."

"The location is fantastic - with views of the Fontainebleau Chateau and within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Our room was elegantly appointed, very clean, and thoughtfully presented. The beds were very comfortable and the room contained eerything we needed. We easy found uber rides to get to Vaux le Vicompte and Barbizon. Our host Philip and his brother were perfect hosts, this hotel having been in their family for 3 generations - they have kept it traditional and yet have discreetly provided all the modern conveniences. "
