"Clean resort"

"Great views. Lovely staff, but not a great neighborhood to stay in. Too many homeless. Restaurants close between 2 pm and 5 pm at night. Unit is dated"

"The room was amazing with great views of Diamond Head and a glimpse of the ocean. Staff did a great job and were very attentive, with free beach chairs and towels being a HUGE plus. The park across the street was also very nice for early morning walks. Only negatives would be that the beach access was not quite what we were expecting (limited and not super clean feeling) and the cost for parking was much higher than necessary. Be sure to factor the parking costs and resort fees into your choice...

"Our stay in the Penthouse Ocean View Suite at the Queen Kapiolani Hotel was absolutely perfect. The location is excellent—tucked away at the quieter end of Waikiki but just steps from the beach. The views of Diamond Head from the room are simply stunning and unmatched by any other property! The suite itself was incredibly spacious, spotless, and comfortable. Having a giant wrap-around balcony was the highlight of our mornings and evenings, and realizing the suite had two bathrooms was an...

"Everything was great. Clean room. Friendly staff. Always greeted with a warm aloha and asking if we needed anything. Allowed us to check in early, hassle free! Even got a really nice quality complimentary water bottle. Location conveniently across the street from the convention center where volleyball tournament was held that we were there for. Oh, and can’t forget the awesome free pearl water stations!"

"I thought the price was very high for the quality which includes high resort and ancillary fees. Despite the high resort fees, you only get free bottles of water on just your first night. The pool area restaurant had very average food and poor service. Not many amenities for a Hilton. Also, seems to attract large contingent of college age kids who want to party. I complained one night about the noise."

"Another great stay at the Kaimana, this time with a perfect ocean view room. We love the quiet and peace away from the main drag of Waikiki, as well as the proximity to Kapioloani Park, with its beautiful lawns and Rainbow Shower Trees."

"The safe in my room did not work, room 513. The bedside table was sticky and had stains on it. The bottom sheet of my bed had small blood stains from a scrape, probably. Because I’m a guy by myself I did not care that much but I think they could manage their room service a bit better. Also, the attendant only came to my room twice in five days."
