Good location. Enjoyed both the breakfast and dinner. Service was excellent and staff were very friendly. Room was clean but decor needs updating. Shower and hot water tap not the best and WiFi signal very poor. Didn’t use leisure facilities so cannot comment on that

First room was above kitchen and the smells affected my husbands sleep apnea machine , staff lovely happy to move us to a different room which was lovely , always clean just the shower was never very warm . Food in the bar was fantastic , atmosphere great . Property is a bit tired . Pool was lovely . No lifts so those on first and second floors can have a bit of a trek to rooms . Great location for travelling around area from .

Its a littlenout of town but grear facilities in average condition. As base camp to ben nevis its a great choice for families and walkers.

The hotel was like walking int the past, to get the television to work I had to rest the ariel box thing on top of my suitcase or we would just get static. The bathroom was clean at least the room was ok. There is no soundproofing so you can hear everything, the staff was loud at 7am talking outside of our window. After walking up Ben Nevis I thought we might be able to sleep but the beds are that uncomfortable it was impossible, I would have had better luck on a park bench.

The staff were very friendly and helpful despite being very busy. There was a mixup with our booking so they provided a bag packed full of snacks and drinks which were very much appreciated. The room was very pleasant and beds extremely comfortable. Excellent stay highly recommended.

Pleasant stay in week to Explore Ben Nevis.

Ideal place to stay for a solo treker keen on climbing Ben Nevis. Lovely to use pool sauna steam as part of the stay included in the price too.

Weekend getaway

The hotel staff are the best feature of this hotel they were all friendly and had a smile, the hotel itself is in need of some updating in the communal areas, but the room itself was clean, the bedding and bed was comfortable, breakfast I would not recommend not worth the money they are charging for it, little to no selection in continental and the cooked breakfast was generic and tasteless. Lovely location and the pool was great.

Only stayed at the hotel for 1 night. Arrived around 8pm & left again around 7am the following morning. Didn’t stay for breakfast. All the staff I encountered were very friendly & helpful. Room was spotless & more than adequate for my stay. Lots of tea bags & milk so big plus for me.
