"This was a very disappointing stay at the Hampton Inn at Crystal City. The window black out shade was on an automatic control and it was stuck open. So the street light shone right into the room all night. Also, the telephone was broken with no dial tone so I was not able to call for help. The front desk staff was unfriendly and curt when I checked in. The breakfast was very average to poor. I will not stay here again."

"We were in a smaller room to start the first few nights but Terri at the front desk was able to move us to a much nicer room. The made to order omelettes were great every morning! It is centrally located to visit all of the sites. We walked to most but took the Metro Rail to others. The Rail is 2 blocks away."

"I generally give this hotel 5-stars and have stayed here several times. Helen in the dining room/bar and Natty at the front desk in particular are great brand “ambassadors”. This last visit I was traveling with my brother and his son…. and my extreme dissatisfaction (and disappointment) is directed only at management/ownership’s decision to close the pool to hotel guests for 9 hours during the day M-F (closed 7-11:00 AM and 2:00-7:00 PM)… apparently, during these 9 closed hours each day M-F the...
