"What a lovely place. We throughly enjoyed our stay - ideal location for getting the tram to a number of favourite vineyards. Everywhere in town is walking distance - perfect for leaving your car and enjoy the wines. An extra mention of praise is the staff, my fiancée left her glasses behind and they made the effort to return them safely by post."

"Amazing stay and amazing staff at Avondrood. Our room was fabulous and well appointed. The included breakfast was great, and it was nice to have a bar on site for an evening drink. Avondrood is well located in beautiful Franschhoek and an easy to walk to restaurants and shops. My wife and I walked in the evening to restaurants in town and felt safe walking back at night. "Beautiful, relaxing, small winery. All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We booked last minute and didn’t notice the stay included a complementary wine tasting, which we missed because we checked in late. Claudine made sure to let us know and arrange the wine tasting the next day for us in their cozy and beautiful cellar. It was a delight to try the wines and hear about them from Claudine. We would definitely recommend Lovane for anyone looking for a peaceful and friendly place. "
