"We have stayed here before and always loved it but this visit was less than pleasant. We called to confirm accessible amenities for our daughter and had to speak to 3 different front desk staff to get any answers. The lobby was dirty with ice cream spilled on the floor. and the front desk staff sat on their phones. Our room was not completely cleaned. When we went to use the lift for the pool it hadn’t been charged so wasn’t operational. It was not a great stay and the staff seemed to not care...

"I booked and prepaid for2 rooms 9 months before our trip to the Outer Banks as a stay over on the way. After traveling 8 hours we arrived at Towneplace Suites in Fredericksburg where we were told our rooms had been canceled the day before. There was a horse race going on and they sold our rooms right out from under us, most likely for a higher rate. They blamed Expedia, but I had received a message from Expedia the day before confirming our reservation. The receptionist told us to go to the one...

"The sheared drapes where shredded in our room, phone not connected and needed cleaning, Coffee maker didn’t work and the sheets where on inside out. It was quiet and pretty clean."

"The 1st room smelled of smoke for a non smoking room. We were moved to another room. This room smelled great, BUT had cockroaches."

"They kicked me and my husband out because my dog was supposed to be on the leash and they never told us when we checked in. The "manager" also took a photo of me showing proof that my dog was on leash."

"The fruit selection on the breakfast bar was top notch. They had grapes watermelon mango strawberries blueberries pineapple and bananas. The scrambled "eggs" were not appetizing at all. The attendant was very responsible and kept things full."

"I never leave negative reviews and overall we loved the hotel. Beware, however, the hotel charged me a balance remaining between them and Expedia stating I needed to seek a refund from Expedia for them underpaying my stay. I paid the same price on Expedia as the advertised hotel rate. I was also charged for parking on property and did not. I’ve left messages since my stay for the GM and have not heard back him."
