"The staff was not pleasant upon check in. The pool was closed in the middle of summer and a heat wave for the season. We were told that the manager closed it to avoid paying maintenance on it. Very disappointing stay as most of the place was dead so not having anything to do at a casino like this was not a good look."

"You can get a good meal at the attached casino if you can afford it. I like that there is lots of covered parking. There is free coffee in the morning, but no breakfast that you would normally expect. The refrigerator is only a 16 in; there is no microwave in the room. TV channels are minimal; Internet is terrible. It's easy to get on the freeway from the hotel; the area is safe. Room temperature is controllable. The staff is pleasant. The fire alarm, which is exceptionally loud (hearing...

"Absolutely charming and amazing, unfortunately my stay was short as I had a spouse in the hospital down the road. I was a woman traveling alone in Shreveport, and I wanted to feel safe. The neighborhood is extremely safe and I felt very comfortable moving about at night to get there. So very thankful for the owners letting me check in late as it was an unexpected hospital admission and we love two hours away. But, I found a little place to come back to. Amazing people."
