"This property is very dated. The photos are well chosen to make the property look much better than it actually is. Our "mountain view" room had one small window that only showed a view of the trees that were almost touching the back of the building. The carpet on the stairs and deck leading to the room was threadbare, torn, and adorned with a large rodent poison trap. Everytime someone walked by the outside of the room, they could clearly be heard inside. The vent on the AC system was broken and...

"Very clean, quiet, convenient. Laundry on site for $1. Very useful and in great condition. GREAT WATER PRESSURE!!!!! My wife's favorite shower ever. HOT water is top notch. Breakfast is good for coffee and a few minor munchies."

"The staff is great and helpful. For an obviously older motel, it was still clean and comfortable. It could use some updating but it’s not dire. It’s quite loud, so bring earplugs for sleep, especially if you’re on the first floor. There’s no soundproofing. The location is one mile from downtown Manitou restaurants and shops, so it is walkable depending on the individual. We wished we were a little closer, but the walk was fine. Would stay here again!"

"I wanted to rate 5 stars for the super friendly check-in, but room was in much need of painting and carpet repair. Bed was firm as I prefer."
