We are a work in progress, a labor of love. Every Winter we set time and money aside to upgrade, renovate, add more gardens and make things better in general. Yes, being on an island is very expensive. Just think that everything needs to be shipped or flown over. In addition wages, taxes, property and utilities are a lot more than on the mainland, especially drinking water. You'll see that reflected in your room rate.
