"The Staff was so welcoming!!!!"

"Breakfast was excellent every day. The beds were comfortable. Promised boat rides were cancelled or delayed. Had to wash coffee cup in my room to use it. Porch was full of spiders & webs. The floor above my room (hallway & guest room) creaked so loudly when walked on, there was no sleeping until after everyone quieted down for the night. Owner was a "my way or the highway" kinda guy, telling guests to not wear bug spray or exchange chairs at outdoor tables. Disappointing, as this was a...

"Outside fire pit and right on the lake. Steps are steep though"

"The lake is not Wa"

"My stay in the historic inn was great. Both dinner and breakfast were served just downstairs from my room. The inn is old but nice and I hope to stay there again someday. My room had an old fashioned bathtub but no shower. Otherwise, all modern conveniences were available."

"Sheets were stained, unwilling to give refund because pool was closed. And NO info was posted about pool being closed on web page."

"Great location. Loved the trains."

"When we arrived to the Garrett Inn, we were able to check in, and were given a key to the room, and told where to park (each room's number was plainly painted on the space for each room, however, due to the configuration of the parking lot vs the way the room's were situated, the parking spaces were off-set from the individual rooms, so when parked for the room assigned, the space was two spaces offset. The room was well appointed, two full beds, a bathroom with a pocket door, a small table...

"Everything was nice and clean. The room is small, but perfect for a one night stay. The bathroom is tiny, but we did fine. Needed a little heat in the room and that worked fine. Very nice setting and staff was very welcoming."

"I was in town for a wedding. Motel was only 20 minutes away from site. The gentleman that checked me in and out was great! I think he also did double duty cleaning the rooms. I had a handicapped room, dealing with a broken hip and knee. Room was amazing! The restaurant next door was nice too!"

"We stayed over for a weekend and the property is newer and overall good. Beds are clean, bathroom is in the smaller side and bathroom door hits the toilet . Kitchenette is nice and well equipped however the utensils were dirty and hair was found on top of utensils. Outdoor areas are clean and well kept. On the flip side, there is no food available at the lodge, there is no room service, staff availability is none after 8pm so if you have noisy neighbors you are out of luck. The bar was...

"The room was clean. The staff were nice and helpful. The property was very pretty. We would stay again."

"Rude staff the beds were hard as rocks and the water wasn't hot"

"Pro tip: don't try to find this place in the dark! We were lucky to find someone who could point out the street to us. Little to no GPS or cell service in the area so download your directions and room info ahead of time. Inn was lovely. Beautifully restored and maintained. Breakfast was self-serve and adequate. Rooms were beautiful and beds were comfy. We had a little trouble finding our rooms due to the lack of cell service so couldn't pull up the email. Had to wake up the poor owner at 10 at...

"Clean and quiet and pretty."

"The property was very nice, the rooms and amenities were very clean. It was a cute little spot, I recommend staying if you're in the area! Our bed sagged a little in the middle but otherwise we had no issues with our stay."
